In the studio or on location

I work in two ways, depending on what you're after. You can either head outdoors for something a bit more varied, or we can use the studio for a cleaner, more controlled look.

Out and about

I usually find that people feel most at ease in places they already know. Whether that's a walk in the Herefordshire countryside, a trip to the coast, or just at your own home, the location helps tell the story. These sessions are very laid back - I’m not there to make you do awkward poses, I’d much rather just see how the session goes and work with the light we have.

In the studio

If you want something a bit more graphic and consistent, the studio is a better bet. It’s a simple setup with a clean background that keeps the focus entirely on you. It’s a good choice if you want to avoid the wind and rain or just prefer a classic, uncluttered portrait.

What I cover

Both options are flexible and work for whatever you need:

• Families: Usually best outdoors or at home where everyone can just be themselves.

• Maternity: A simple way to get some decent photos before the baby arrives.

• Engagement: A quick session to get used to the camera before the wedding.

• Individual portraits: Clear, professional shots for work or personal use, either in the studio or out on location.
